Accessing Inventory Summary

Start by opening the Inventory Summary View to gain an overview of your dispensed medications. This essential page reveals the last recorded count, total quantities ordered and dispensed, and the expected count. Such insights are invaluable for maintaining optimal inventory levels and ensuring the availability of medications for your patients.

Using Filters

  • Filter Options: Simplify your view by clicking the Filters button. A dropdown menu allows you to select statuses like "All," "Complete," "Overdue," and "Entry Required." This tailored approach helps you focus on areas needing immediate attention.

  • Active Filters: Once a filter is chosen, a chip indicating the active filter appears next to the Filters button. This instant update mechanism ensures the table reflects your selection without delay, facilitating smoother inventory management.

  • Removing Filters: To revert to a broader view, simply click on the chip next to the Filters button to remove any active filter.

Searching

For targeted searches within the inventory, such as looking up drug names or Drug Identification Numbers (DIN), utilize the search field provided. This feature is particularly useful for quickly accessing information on specific medications.

Adding New Counts

  • Record New Counts: Easily add a new physical count for a medication by clicking the Plus or Add Count button. This feature ensures your inventory data remains up-to-date.

  • Accessing Drug Details: For more information on a medication, click on its DIN or name. You'll be directed to the drug details page, where comprehensive drug information is available.

Table Navigation

Adjust the display settings to suit your preferences, including the number of rows per page. Use the navigation arrows at the table's bottom to browse through pages, making it easier to manage large inventories.

Choosing a Medication

Using the Inventory Summary View, locate a medication by its DIN or name. A simple click takes you to the drug's detailed information page.

Drug Info & Stats Card

This card on the drug details page provides crucial information about the medication, including statistical data on its usage, orders, and dispensing trends. Such insights are vital for informed inventory decisions.

Drug Transactions Component

Here, you can view detailed transaction data for the selected drug, including orders, dispenses, and returns. Analyzing these trends helps in effective inventory management.

Inventory Timeline

The Inventory Timeline feature allows for tracking the historical inventory levels of a medication, offering a clear picture of how transactions and usage patterns affect stock levels.

Modifying Inventory Counts

Adding a New Count
