Confirm your store details

PHOXBook pharmacy portal (rx.phoxbook.ca): Address, phone number, time zone and store hours, where each one is set and who sets it.

What the step checks

The step is done when the store has all four:

  • A full address: street, city, province and postal code.

  • A phone number.

  • A time zone used in the store's province. A store in British Columbia on Toronto time is not done: every appointment time would show three hours off.

  • Store hours: all seven days set, at least one of them open.

When something is missing, the step lists it under Still needed. In Pharmacy settings, Store details also says it next to the field, and a banner at the top of the section says what is left and where.

Set your address and phone number

  1. Select Edit store details on the step, or go to Pharmacy settings and select Store details under Store.

  2. Change the phone number, website or address. Changing the province changes the store's time zone, so only head office can do it ("Changing the province changes the store's time zone. Ask head office.").

  3. Select Save in the bar at the bottom of the page.

You need the Pharmacy settings permission (your pharmacy manager has it). The map position used on your group's store list is updated from the new address when you save. If it cannot be, the details are still saved and the previous position is kept.

Set your store hours

When only the store hours are missing, the step's button is Set store hours.

  1. Select Set store hours on the step, or go to Pharmacy settings and select Store hours under Store.

  2. For each day, turn it on and set Opens and Closes, or select Mark closed.

  3. To set your booking hours at the same time, tick Also update booking hours to match. This gives one booking time slot per open day for every service. It needs the Availability filters permission, and is not offered when head office manages your booking hours or sets them from a template.

  4. Select Save in the bar at the bottom of the page.

Times are set in 5-minute steps. A closing time after midnight cannot be entered.

Store name, store number and time zone

Your head office or PharmaGuide sets the store name, the store number, the time zone and the store's email address. Store details shows them with Set by head office; they cannot be changed from the pharmacy portal. The email address receives the store's booking notifications, so only head office changes it.

If the step says your time zone does not match your province, contact your head office or your PharmaGuide contact and say which store it is. Once they correct it, the step shows as done the next time the Dashboard opens.

If you see "Set by head office"

Head office has locked that section for your store: the store details, or the store hours. The section still shows in Pharmacy settings, with a lock and Set by head office, and you can read it but not change it. Ask your head office to complete or correct it.
