What is the default schedule?

Your default schedule is the weekly pattern that repeats every week unless overridden by a custom shift or time off. Think of it as your "normal" working hours.

How to set it

  1. Switch to Manage Work Hours using the top toggle

  2. Select Default Schedule from the sub-toggle

  3. For each day of the week, turn the Working switch on or off

  4. Set the Start and End times with the clock buttons. Where your store's hours are known, the pickers stay within them for that day

  5. Click Save when done

Features

Day toggle

Each day has a Working switch. When off, the day shows as "Day off" with no time selectors, and the store's hours for that day.

Hours display

Each working day shows the calculated hours (for example, "8.0h"). The total weekly hours appear at the bottom.

Copy schedule shortcut

Click a day's card, then the Copy <day> to... button at the top right (it copies Monday until you pick another day):

  • Copy to All Days: Apply that day's hours to every day of the week

  • Copy to Weekdays (Mon-Fri): Apply them to Monday through Friday

  • Copy to Weekends (Sat-Sun): Apply them to Saturday and Sunday

Great for quickly setting up a standard schedule.

Store hours warnings

A yellow warning appears when the store is closed on a working day ("Store is closed on this day") or your hours fall outside its hours ("Outside store hours"). It is a warning; you can still save. An end time before the start time is an error ("End time must be after start time") and must be fixed first.

Unsaved changes bar

When you modify the schedule, a save bar appears at the bottom with Discard and Save buttons. Changes are not saved until you click Save.

Tips

  • Set your default schedule once and only update it when your regular hours change

  • Use Custom Shifts for one-off changes instead of editing the default

  • The weekly total helps you verify your hours at a glance
