When completing a MedsCheck, pharmacists have the option to update or modify the patient’s Primary Care Provider information directly within the form. During the “Patient” step of the MedsCheck process, you can update the doctor’s details by selecting the “Select a Doctor” button. This action will open a list of available doctors within the system. From there, you may either choose the appropriate doctor from the existing list or search for a specific provider by entering their first name, last name, or CPSO number. Once the correct doctor is selected, the system will automatically update the patient’s record with the new information, ensuring that the MedsCheck documentation accurately reflects the patient’s current Primary Care Provider.
